About Me

Hello,

I came to England 5 years ago with the intention of improving my career as a sound engineer. Whilst in Bournemouth, I had the chance to combine my two passions: sound and cinema.

I just finished my MA Sound effects for films and TV at the Bournemouth University and I feel ready for new challenges and to keep developing my career as a sound designer.

I just loved discovering all the processes involved in sound design in films. From recording on locations to post-productions studios, every single part of the process becomes very important for the final result.

In my work, taking care of every last little detail is absolutely essential and I consider myself a hard working person, always seeking new inspirations for future projects. So, if you are exploring any exciting and innovative ideas and are in need of an injection of fresh creativity, please contact me, I would be very interested to be part of your team.

Pre-production

The first step,  in the process of my sound designs, involve a close communication with both crew and director in order to understand the main idea of the project.

A successful approach starts with the study of the script, choosing the right equipment for location recordings and also,  getting inspiration and finding new ideas to improve the final work.

Post-production

In the studio, the process continues with the dialogue edition, recording effects in the Foley room or making a research through different sound libraries in order to find the proper map of sounds for our project. After this, and using Pro Tools as the main audio software to work, the audio edition will put together effects and ambiences in order to get a final mix where sound and images create a coherent narrative story.

Pro Tools

Using Pro Tools  has been the best way to get immersed in a professional environment. Which every project I had the chance to not just make use of its powerful processing tools but aso using its virtual instruments such as Xpand!2, Structure Free or Vacuum. A very powerful tool for all my sound designs.
